Body shells

This Sprint Carbon Fibre Composite bodyshell is a sleek interpretation based on the minisprints from the 1960's and 70's. The Carbon Fibre & Quadaxel shell is bonded and laminated at the seams and has reinforcement around the subrame and component mounts. As with all Composite shells it is ABS Groups advise that a roll cage is used. The shell kit consists of the following items - Body shell Front end Bonnet Front valance Bulkhead Top dash rail Lower dash rail Doors x 2 Inner sills x 2 Floor cross member Rear pocket moulding x 2 Rear bulkhead Rear seat base Parcel Shelf Boot lid none of these components are transferable from any other shell. All components will be made from the same pigmented gel coat and are available in a choice of colours from the LR range, please cut and paste this link for guide - http://www.llewellyn-ryland.co.uk/standardrange.html">http://www.llewellyn-ryland.co.uk/standardrange.html The standard layup is - 2 layers Gelcoat - Colour of choice (please confirm once order is placed) 1 layer CSM 1 layer Quadaxel 1 layer Carbon Fibre. around suspension and subframe mounting points - 2 additional layers of quadaxel at 90 degree orientation. 1 additional layer Carbon Fibre. at the bond/join lines - additional 120mm layer of quadaxel and Carbon Fibre Construction can be adapted as required with options on Carbon, Kevlar, Quadaxle and GRP layers, please add options as required.
